Founder

Founder Mr. Navtej Singh Bhatti

“I had a keen interest in Bee Keeping and passionate about bees since my childhood as my maternal family belonged to Bee Keeping business. Though my father Mr. Gurmukh Singh was a Government employee, yet he indulged into Bee Keeping to nurture his hobby. Whenever I get a chance to visit my maternal family in Ugani (A village in Rajpura – Punjab), I gazed on the bee boxes. I clearly remembered, when I was in 7th Standard my Maternal uncle gifted me 5 boxes of bees and this was my first time when I started bee keeping as my hobby. When I progressed to 10th standard, the bee boxes also multiplied and reached up to 50. Moreover, my younger brother helped me a lot to in taking care of bees and our interest in bee keeping increased along with the increased number of bees. After my graduation, I decided to make it my career as I was overwhelmed to see the growing number of bee boxes. Till that time, the amount of boxes enhanced up to 1500. We supplied the bee boxes all over the India and collected different types of honey like Mustard, Multi flora, Eucalyptus and many more.

I also completed my studies from Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana. Now I am 38 years old and serving this apiary since a long a time. I am an executive member and district president of district Patiala and lifetime member of National Bee Board, New Delhi. I love to share my thoughts and experiences to the newcomers in this field and always ready to work for the welfare of the bee keepers as well.”
